Head in the clouds 2.0
This short clip was created in After Effects, Photoshop and Premier Pro.
Sith Saber
I created this Light Sabre in homage to my favourite Sith lord, Savage Opres, RIP.
Mortal Kombat Warm Up
As a self development excercise and for a bit of fun, I experimented with green screen to create a scene in which I fight 'Scorpion', my favourite Mortal Kombat character. I added the fireball in 'After Effects' and edited the footage in 'Premier Pro'.
The Duke
This is my part 1 of a series of videos I am created for self development. It shows a walk through Salford Univrsity at Media City. I have used green screen and a few modifiers in 'After Effects' and a touch of Duke Nukem.
Light Speed
Gaining light speed in After Effects using the modifier particle emitter.
Smoke Effect
This effect was created in After Effects. I was listening to Marilyn Manson making this, hence the name in the clip!
E4 Animatic
An animatic is an unfinished product and is intended to get an idea across. I developed the scenes for this animatic in Flash.
The Colourful Dinosaur
This short animation was created in Adobe Flash and was inspired by a frustration filled day!
Head In The Clouds
I was inspired to create this animation by the Gorrilaz video "El Mañana". Each image was layered in 'After Effects' and I added myself by using green screen.
11 Second Club 2014
The objective of this task was to animate a rig to a specific audio. I completed the key framing in Maya.
Particle Effect
I created this clip using After Effects. I had experimented with effects to create engine output for a 3D model.
Dolly Zoom
Created in 'After Effects'.
Movement in Maya
This short animation was created as part of my work in second year. The objective was to show an understanding of fluid movement.
Particle Effect
Created in After Effects as part of an experiment with the particle modifiers.
Gyroscope Experiment
The gyroscope was created in 3DS Max, testing reflective materials and glow effects with a short rotation animation.
Animated Limp
I completed the key framing in Adobe Maya. This first year project at university required me to animate a character with a limp. I used the "Keith rig" from University. I wanted my limp to stand out, so I decided on a zombie shuffle to fulfil the brief!
Stop Motion Limp
Created in the stop motion suite at university using my own armature 'Truman'. I was tasked with adding character to a basic walk cycle. I have made my character look aged and with a bad back as the movement lacks fluidity and signifies pain and restriction.
Stop Motion Walk Cycle
I created this clip at the very start of my course in my first year in the stop motion suite. The brief was to create a short clip in which an emotion is conveyed. I have created a character who looks lost. He then climbs over an obstacle. I found this first stop notion project difficult. It was very time consuming as making a mistake meant re-doing the whole animation. Completing this project made me realise how important the entire series of frames in an animation are for ensuring realistic motion.
Stop Motion Emotion
This clip introduces an emotion into the animation. For my character I have incorporated the emotion of sadness.
Stop Motion Wall Climb
For this short animation clip produced in my first year, I have animated my character climbing over a wall then throw an object. I have replicated this animation producing the same wall climb and throwing motions in Adobe Maya.
Stop Motion Sneak
The brief for this task was to tell a short story using stop motion. My character moves around the wall in a sneaking fashion, then rolls away before being spotted. Due to a lack of quality equipment at University, I had to improvise and use fishing wire instead of the correct prop for the jump animation.
Stop Motion Sit and Stand
This short animation was made in my 1st year at university. I had to act out each moment before animating to understand the basic principles of movement to apply to the stop motion.
The Problem With Zombies
Filmed at my flat. Edited in Adobe Premier and special effects added in Adobe After Effects. I have added the zombies using green screen and the Keylight modifier in After Effects.
