About Me
I am an Animation graduate of Salford University. I have continued to devleop my skills and knowledge, as I have progressed on to the 16/17 'MA Media Production: Animation' at Salford. I am currently working on my final project for the MA which I will be submitting early September 2017. The Masters course has enabled me to develop my skills to a professional level. I am currently building the 'Masters' tab for this site and will be including the work completed during 16/17.

Following a 10 year career serving in the British Armed Forces in the Infantry, I was ready for a new challenge. I began drawing at an early age and realised I had discovered a way to express myself. Drawing became a passion. I progressed from drawing dinosaurs using pens and pencils at an early age, to experimenting with other materials and subjects. My aim was always to expand my drawing skills and refine the techniques I had developed, constantly striving to push my own boundaries. In recent years I have applied my artistry to create commission drawings. I have created a gallery within the home tab, containing examples of these drawings. So why Animation? It has always felt like a natural progression following from years of experimentation with drawing. I also benefited from being computer literate having completed ECDL and Auto CAD courses. These courses provided me with a logical understanding of computer programs. I have finally discovered an outlet to push my drawing skills into a whole new dimension!! I started at Salford University with sketch books and ideas. I am now in my third year and have covered a great deal in a short time. From animation composition with sound to creative artefact production planning. I work with multiple softwares such as Maya, 3Ds Max, After Effects, Flash, Premier, Photoshop, Mud Bucket and Illustrator are but just a few. I continuously assess my strengths and weaknesses and look for ways to strengthen weak areas to maintain a balanced skill set. The VR Café Amsterdam
